In Manvendra’s own words
I am Manvendra Vikram Singh, working with SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd as Vice President in Ahmedabad. I am heading Bancassurance channel - which consists of more than 1200 Branches of State Bank of India, for the entire Gujarat State with a team of 153 people.
Am from the BIMM Go-getters (IT & Marketing) 2003-05 batch. Was selected by SBI Life as Management Trainee through college campus placement and joined SBI Life on 10th June 2005. In the very first year of my carrier I won best Management Trainee award by then MD SBI Life Mr. Krishnamurthy.
Spent almost 11 years with SBI Life. It has been a great journey so far in these 11 years from a Management Trainee to Vice President. I have been blessed to be the fastest growing employee of the company and youngest Vice President.
Give credit of this success to my loving parents and family, Institute Sri Balaji Society and my company SBI Life. My Institute and the teachings imparted has helped me become a strong person to win in this competitive world. I have always followed honorable Bala Sir’s success mantra of 3 “H” Humor, Humanity and Humility religiously. SBI Life always trusted me and gave me opportunities to spread my wings which always encouraged me to perform above expectation level. The way I was trained here, the way all my superiors groomed and guided me, made me what I am today.
Blessed to have been PAN India topper in almost all the assignments given to me in SBI Life. Have never missed any promotion and consistently been able to get very high ratings in performance appraisals year on year. Have been awarded by all the past MD & CEOs of SBI Life. Will be felicitated by Mr. Saurav Ganguly (Cricket Icon) for superlative performance on 2nd September’16 in Mumbai.
On a personal note, basically from Varanasi but my parents are settled in Gwalior. Grateful to my loving parents for a great upbringing and their blessings with which I have been able to reach this far on this corporate journey and in life. 1982 born, married in 2013 and have blessed with a beautiful family and baby boy in 2015.
I wish the Sri Balaji Society Alma Mater Alumni community and current students continued success and growth in all aspects of corporate career, business and life.
